Prima edizione
This firsthand account of piracy was written by buccaneer Basil Ringrose, who sailed under Captain Bartholomew Sharp, raiding the Spanish Main for gold and treasure in the 1670s and 1680s. Aside from a narrative of their exploits capturing ships and sacking towns, his main purpose here was to draw 106 charts of the many Spanish harbors of the Pacific Coast from the tip of South America up to Northern California, including the Galapagos Islands. It also contains physical and biological observations, along with culture, customs, and folklore of the inhabitants, but it's their attacks on the Spanish that are of primary interest. Abe is unable to correctly determine shipping, so it MIGHT be different depending on where you are and how quickly you want it. If you email me your town and zip code, I can give you more options. It is definitely more affordable by media mail and sometimes only takes a day or two longer than priority, but on rare occasions it goes by ship, which adds three weeks to the journey. This oversized book has 314 pages and 106 maps. Long out of print, this book is difficult to find. Its original price was $85. Just a few years ago it was selling for $200. I'm selling this one for less than the cover price in order to sell it quickly. Take advantage of this great deal.
