Hardcover, this good quality reprint was issued without a dustjacket, sturdy brown cloth, two minor flaws to this clean, attractive copy: a label with the title and author listed on the inside of the front cover, and a name has been crossed out on the first blank page, the contents are pristine and the binding is tight and square, illustrated throughout, including a folding plan, originally published in 1860, the subtitle reads "Illustrated by diagrams of the river front, and portraits of some of its prominent occupants. Together with sketches of character, and incidents and anecdotes of the day".

Paperback. Condizione: Very Good. [12] p.: chromolithographed illustrations; 15 cm. Stapled with chromolithographed illustrations on front and back wrappers; upper edges are curved. Wrapper included in page count. The illustrations are four full-page chromolithographed views of Nürnberg by German artist Lorenz Ritter (1832-1921). Text includes the poem "Nuremberg" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and an announcement, dated Oct. 15, 1904, by A. L. Kesner for Gimbel Brothers that the toys and dolls he had purchased in Germany would be in the store in time for the holidays. Abraham L. Kesner (1869-1917) was a buyer and manager with Gimbel Brothers for six years. By the end of 1904 he had joined his brothers in Chicago at another mercantile business. A scarce Gimbel's promotional item. In Very Good Condition: spine is rubbed; wrapper is lightly soiled and scraped; internally clean and tight.
