Top corners lightly bumped and gift inscription on front endpaper; otherwise, text unmarked and binding tight. The slipcase is sturdy, although the top edge is just starting to peel back at one end. Essay…s on the history and culture of Luxembourg, illustrated with lots of color photographs. The text is triple-columned in French, German, and English. This copy belonged to Raymond E. Goedert, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Chicago; there is a gift inscription to him on the front endpaper from two of his friends.
