In 1899, the Chesebrough Manufacturing Company moved into a building at 13-19 State Street in Battery Park, New York City, subsequently known as the Chesebrough Building. In 1919 the company sold it to real estate broker Joseph P. Day. This book was Inscribed by Chesebrough to Day in the year the sale was finalized. An interesting New York City business association.
