Not to be confused with the 1970 British television movie directed by Alan Bridges. A successful architect and his wife, an academic, face the deterioration of their relationship in their suburban home. Originally written for Swedish television and released in 1970 under the title "Reservatet," the script was translated into English and used for two television movies-one in 1970 in Britain, and one in the US in 1973. 9 x 7 inches. Based on the 1967 novel by Ken Kolb, about a Vietnam veteran's struggle with his beliefs amidst widespread political unrest at his university. One of the more commercially successful films about student activism released in 1970, joining (and indeed outperforming) "The Strawberry Statement," "The Revolutionary," and "Zabriskie Point," among others.
