Volume One:Worn at edges and corners an…d with some weakness to top two inches of front gutter. Damp stain on back endpapers. Torn folding map opposite page 274, but without loss. Uncut. Top edge grey with dust. Very slight foxing to fore edge. Some gatherings slightly weak. Volume Two Part 1. Published in 1874 the green cloth has darkened on the spine and faded on the covers.Small tear to front of spine and the corners and edges are rubbed. Both gutters are a bit loose. Top edge grey with dust. Slight foxing to fore edge. Folding map opposite title p[age is torn for approx. two inches but without loss. Similar tear to folding map opposite Page 250, but again no loss. Some gatherings loose. Volume Two - Part Two: Published in 1874 and has darkened spine and faded covers. Both gutters loose and some gatherings loose. Top edge grey with dust. Uncut. Some slight foxing to edges. Corners and edges rubbed. 0.0.
