In Agen, he wrote some 214 dramatic, socially sensitive novellas (made available in both French & English), providing, notably, themes to Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet (1594-95),"Much Ado About Nothing" (1598-99), and "Twelfth Night (1601-02)! This Volume II, in 313 pgs., covers Discourses VII through XIII. They are, with lengthy titles: Discourse VII, The Disordered Lyfe of the Countesse of Celant .; VIII, Julya Drowneth Her Selfe .; IX, The Impudent Love of the Ladye of Chabrie .; X, Luchin is Longe in Love wyth a Simple Maide .; XI, The Crueltye of a Wydowe in Enjoynynge her Woer .; XII, Peryllo Suffreth Muche for the Love of Carmosyna .; and XIII, A Wonderful Constancie in Dom Diego .
