Folio red cloth slipcase, H 34.25cm x L 51.25cm, with some soiling and mild stains to the oblong side panels as well as a few points of slight fraying to cloth along seams. Enclosed is a red cloth folder, H 32.75cm x L 50.25cm, with 152 unbound pages (i.e. 76 loose leaves collated as complete) featuring vivid color illustrations on both versos and rectos and occasional text captions in French and Arabic. Leaves are bright and clean. Light rubbing to folder side panels, gilt lettering upon front panel and spine remains bright, short 1.5cm tear to cloth at head of front joint. Laid-in a pocket upon the folder's front board verso are two staple-bound booklets, a 53 page French language booklet and a 46 page Arabic booklet, which are both H 21cm x L 13.5cm and have mild soiling to their white paper covers. Folder's same front board verso also has numerous ink inscriptions from United States Embassy in Mauritania staff to Ambassador Robert L. Pugh and his wife thanking them for their service from August 1985 to July 1988 before Pugh's appointment as American ambassador to Chad. (The handwritten inscriptions are the only English text within the book.) Else a very good copy in good+ slipcase. A total of seven jpeg images can be emailed upon request.
