Codet - Angelo Hesnard - Eugène Minkowski - Françoise Minkowska - E. Pichon - P. Schiff - Il s'agissait essentiellement de confronter les points de vue psychanalytiques qui à cette époque, peu après la première guerre mondiale, avaient conquis droit de cité en France - et les points de vue psychiatriques. Les discussions du Groupe, ardentes et approfondies, furent alors publiées dans les premiers tomes de l'Evolution Psychiatrique (alors chez Payot) - Plus tard la revue fut publiée par Maloine, Chahine puis d'Artray. Le Groupe s'augmenta rapidement et admit en son sein des psychanalystes de grande renommée (Morgenstern - Rudolph Loewenstein qui fut le psychanalyste de Lacan - Sacha Nacht - Pierre Male - Charles Odier - Julien Rouart - Raymond de Saussure - Daniel Lagache - Favez-Boutonnier - Serge Lebovici - René Diatkine - Jacques Lacan - P.C. Racamier Charles Brisset .) et des psychiatres connus par leurs travaux de psychiatrie clinique, de psychopathologie, ou leurs affinités avec la psychologie des profondeurs ou la phénoménologie (Ceillier - Georges Daumezon - Deshaies - Dublineau - Duchêne - Henri Ey - Sven Follin - Fouquet - Laboucarié - Lanteri-Laura - Mignot - Montassut - Pichot - Tosquelles .) qui vinrent en grand nombre participer aux travaux de la Société et publièrent d'importants articles dans sa revue.
