Condizione: Good-. 1st Ed. 458pp, 3 plates+1 folding chart, small octavo leather-bound hardcover, rebacked with tan cloth and leather title blocks, original boards. moderate tanning to spine cloth, heavy fading to spine titles with the leather cracked and chipping away, mild wear to board edges with underboard mildly…exposed at fore-edge corners, rear fep is missing, 1/3 of folding map missing from the binding side and reproduced in minute detail by hand and affixed to remaining 2/3 of map, front hinge mildly starting just after the first signature with first signature mildly weak but intact, mild signs of starting at rear inner hinge yet binding remains solid, mild tanning and foxing to endpapers, slight foxing to a few prelims, interior text clean and legible throughout.
