It came to life in 1889. In similar fashion, inside these 373 pages, you will find Winkler, Nelsonville, Coalsamao, Estevan, Wilkie, Sintaluta, B…owsman, Biggar, Moose Jaw, and Landis. You also won't be surprised two find two of Canada's famous `good-guy-bad-guys' - Louis Riel and the CPR. Rather extensive `sources' section begins on page 365. Cond : Paper wrspper has blue and green lettering. Cover image is of a Fargo pick-me-up truck driving away, down a country road. Volume is square and bright. Name of p/o verso front cover. General wear and soiling. Paper is age-toned. Very good reading copy. QUote (p. 233) (think : Bienfait) : " Two freckled boys of 12 or 13 hover over the table, their tough faces serious and absorbed. It is a hot spring afternoon, but the poolroom is cool and dark. Three large green billiard tables stretch away into the gloom.
