Neuware - Die amerikanische Künstlerin Ione Robinson, heute völlig vergessen, ist dem deutschen Künstler Alfred Otto Wolfgang Schulze, genannt Wols, im Jahr 1947 in Paris mehrfach begegnet. In kurzen, sehr prägnanten und zugleich bewegenden Worten beschreibt sie die Gespräche und Momente, die sie mit ihm geteilt hat. Sie bohrt und stellt ihm unaufhörlich Fragen, die seine Kunst betreffen, Fragen, die er nicht mag, er weicht aus und gibt auch durch sein Flüchten dann doch eine Antwort. In jener Nachkriegszeit sieht er nur Schmerz und Unheil um sich, er hat, obwohl erst 34-jährig, nur noch vier Jahre zu leben. Dieser (menschlich) berührende wie (künstlerisch) erhellende Text ist von der Wols-Literatur erstaunlicherweise wenig (oder gar nicht) rezipiert worden. Das Buch erinnert an einen traurigen Mann und großen Zeichner, der lieber kurz, aber poetisch leben wollte.…
