Aggiungi al carrelloCouverture souple. Condizione: Bon. Edition originale. Agrafes absentes.…

His nickname was "Mister 1830", because of his habit of walking along the streets of Antwerp dressed as a dandy from the year Belgium became separate from the Netherlands. Though his style was very much his own, his poetry showed influences of Modernism, Expressionism, Dadaism and early Surrealism. He was an active Flamingant, a supporter of Flemish independence. Because of his involvement in Flemish activism during World War I, he had to flee to Berlin, a center of Dadaism and Expressionism, where he met many other artists.
