This gently-used volume has very few signs of wear although there are some margin notes (written by my grandmother, a missionary from the Congo). The DJ has some minor tears from shelving. It is in giftable condition and is quite an interesting book. It is a compilation of the Lonkundo stories and fables, lovingly translated into English. A rare find for a sociaologist, anthropologist, or linguist who wants to learn more about the people of Zaire.
