Neuware -Studien über die traditionelle Medizin von Migranten in Italien sind nicht sehr zahlreich, da sich das Interesse der Experten eher auf offensichtliche und dringliche Themen konzentriert (Gesundheit von Migranten, Kontakt mit dem Gesund…heitssystem, interkulturelle Kommunikation) und dabei den Aspekt des medizinischen Pluralismus und die Existenz alternativer therapeutischer Ressourcen außer Acht lässt. Die Mutterschaft hingegen ist ein von den Anthropologen der Migration sehr begehrtes Thema, da sie einen fruchtbaren Boden für die Konfrontation mit Themen darstellt, die nicht ausschließlich medizinisch sind, sondern eher mit symbolischen Vorstellungen und anderen kulturellen Aspekten zusammenhängen. Die Arbeit, die ich begonnen habe, wird den Austausch zwischen der marokkanischen Einwanderung, der Anwendung traditioneller Medizin und der Mutterschaft verfolgen.VDM Verlag, Dudweiler Landstraße 99, 66123 Saarbrücken 72 pp. Deutsch.
