Sheet Music. Condizione: Poor. No date listed and is believed to be circa early 1900's. This libretto has been very well loved. Paperback is in poor condition and is in desperate need of rebinding, but no pages appear to be missing. Heavy wear to the covers and the paper spine is missing. The previous owners have taped the cover…s back on, but most of the tape has disintegrated over time. A previous owner's name is on the top of the front cover and on the first page of music. Front cover also has one pencil notation that has been mostly rubbed off. Heavy pencil marks and notations to the pages, however, the music itself is still legible. Pages are tanned and foxed with age. A previous owner attached six paperclips to some of the pages. The book is now protected in an acid-free bag with a board to prevent further wear. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 328 pages.

Especially interesting are ads for Tiffany & Co. and Brady's Daguerrian Galleries. Front wrapper has a facsimile signature of Giulia Grisi Mario as a guarantee of authenticity. Both parts were printed by John Darcie. WorldCat records a number of other libretti printed by him in the 1850s, but not this one.
