Covers moderately soiled and worn, else G. Apparently the Stearns company issued a Boston guide book, complete with advertising, for years. This year they scrapped the advertising and went with a different format. Includes the following chapters: The Year Eighteen Forty Seven, by William S. Rossiter; Other Days and Ways in Boston and Cambridge, by Thomas Wentworth Higginson; Recollections of Old Boston, by a Boston Lady of the Period; The Old Boston Water Front, by Frank H.
