It is based on the one hand on the study of the evolution of the Algerian tourist market, i.e. the trends of evoluti…on of the tourist offer and demand from 1999 to 2018, and on the other hand on the study of the contribution of tourism in the national economy through the study of the balance of payments -for travel-, and its contribution in employment and in the GDP. To achieve these objectives, a descriptive approach was used on data from the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts and the National Statistics Office. The results showed, firstly, that Algeria experienced an evolution in the tourist market during the period studied, but the tourist offer represented by the hotel establishments and the hotel capacity did not meet the tourist demand represented by the incoming tourists, and secondly, the contribution of the tourist sector in Algeria remained weak in spite of the fact that it experienced certain evolutions.

Se basa, por un lado, en el estudio de la evolución del mercado turístico argelino, es decir, las tendencias de evolución…de la oferta y la demanda turística desde 1999 hasta 2018, y por otro lado, en el estudio de la contribución del turismo en la economía nacional a través del estudio de la balanza de pagos -de viajes-, y su contribución en el empleo y en el PIB. Para alcanzar estos objetivos, se utilizó un enfoque descriptivo sobre los datos del Ministerio de Turismo y Artesanía y de la Oficina Nacional de Estadística. Los resultados mostraron, en primer lugar, que Argelia experimentó una evolución en el mercado turístico durante el periodo estudiado, pero la oferta turística representada por los establecimientos hoteleros y la capacidad hotelera no satisfizo la demanda turística representada por los turistas entrantes, y en segundo lugar, la contribución del sector turístico en Argelia siguió siendo débil a pesar de que experimentó ciertas evoluciones.

Pour atteindre ces objectifs, une approche descriptive a été utilisée sur des données du ministère du tourisme et de l'artisanat et de l'office national des statistiques. Les résultats ont montré en premier lieu que l'Algérie a connu une évolution dans le marché touristique durant la période étudiée, mais l'offre touristique représentée par les établissements hôteliers et la capacité d'accueil hôtelière n'ont pas répondu à la demande touristique représentée par les touristes entrants, et en second lieu, la contribution du secteur touristique en Algérie a resté faible malgré qu'il a connu certaines évolutions.

Om deze doelstellingen te bereiken is gebruik gemaakt van een beschrijvende aanpak op basis van gegevens van het Ministerie van Toerisme en Ambachten en het Nationaal Bureau voor de Statistiek.
