Picture of author to frontispiece. 262 pp. The book is in fair condition. There is moderate shelf-wear to the extremities of the cover, the corners are bruised, there are minor marks to the back. The cover is tanned, especially the spine. The back hinge is cracked and the front hinge is beginning to crack, the binding is slightly slack. There is quite heavy foxing to the front matter, last two pages of text and two pages of adverts. There is light foxing to the fore edge. Otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked.

Originally published around 1917. A whimsically illustrated children's tale about a stubborn, spirited princess. In VG condition with tight spine and no internal markings; light wear to board edges.
