A total of 369 species in 79 genera under 4 subfamilies are listed in the present work, including 3 unconfirmed species records, which makes the Indian Syrphid taxon list to comprise 366 species in 77 genera under 13 tribes and 4 subfamilies. This book will be an important database for future workers, working on Indian Hoverflies.
