There was originally a surname after "Arnold" -- previous owner has stoned off this name, leaving a rough spot on the paper, which is nonetheless intact. Book was acquired with others once belonging to Arnold Shaw, who founded the Popular Music Research Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and wrote numerous books on the history of American popular music.
