Wir möchten nur Beispiele dafür bieten, wie diese Querverbindungen in der Praxis des deutschen Unterri…chts verwirklicht werden können. Unsere Aufstellungen sollen dazu dienen, den Deutschlehrern die mühsame Arbeit eigenen Zusammensuchens abzunehmen, soweit dies in einem Handbuch geschehen kann. Es empfiehlt sich für die Benutzer, Ergänzungen nach eigenen Erfahrungen nachzutragen. Entsprechend seinen eigenen Neigungen und im Einklang mit dem Typus seiner Schule kann der Deutschlehrer aus den gegebenen Stoffen die nötige Auswahl treffen oder die Stoffe unter anderen Gesichtspunkten als den von uns aufgestellten untereinander verbinden und durch neu erscheinende Lehrmittel erweitern. Vollständigkeit anzustreben war weder möglich noch auch unsere Absicht. Wir haben den umfangreichen Stoff in drei Gruppen geteilt, Querverbindungen in den Unter- und Mittelklassen (Sexta bis Untersekunda) und in den Oberklassen (Untersekunda bis Oberprima). Hierbei findet die Untersekunda, die den Übergang von der Mittelstufe zur Oberstufe bildet, ihre Behandlung in zwei Gruppen. (.) Wir haben versucht, hier nach Möglichkeit weitere Querverbindungen zu den schon bekannten hinzuzufügen und die bereits gefundenen in neue Zusammenhänge einzuordnen.
