Quarter blue cloth and brown cloth covered boards, black lettering on front cover and spine, 4to, 283 pp. Signed and inscribed warmly by Harry S, Ruth (compiler) to Rollin Abbott, historian of the Hartford, Wisconsin Post of the American Legion. and dated August 25, 1928. Ruth was historian of the Roy Kelly Post of the American Legion in Ashland, Wisconsin, and served as a chaplain during the war. Most of the men from Ashland County served in the 32 "Red Arrow" Division in France. Includes information on those serving from the various villages in the county. Small hole front cover, minor offsetting on front cover. No marks in book, binding tight. Book condition VG-. Binding: HB.
