It features over 60 works by Samuel Cooper, Britain's first internationally celebrated artist. Including portrait miniatures from the Royal Collection, the V&A and the Ashmolean, as well as private collections. Many coloured illustrations, some startling enlargements. Normally if you enlarge a miniature it reveals a roughness, but these still look brilliant. Excellent information and visual portrayals. Curated by Emma Rutherford, edited by Dr Bendor Grosvenor. Very scarce and sought after. A classic for the archives.
