Wear and slight fraying on spine ends and corners. Frontispiece of author and facsimile of his signature. 10th edition. Preface and Publisher's Preface in front; 3 full page illustrations; Over 100 poems. Author revealed his mind and mood in his poetry; they were written at random and contain a wide variety of subjects. RARE VINTAGE COPY.

Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Hardcover, no dust jacket. Good condition. Gold lettering and decoration to the front cover and spine. Dated 1896 to the copyright page. No date on title page. 361 pages. Binding is tight and square. Cloth is lightly rubbed at the head and foot of the spine and corners. Some discoloration to the covers- back cover has slightly heavier discoloration. Pages faintly and evenly toned throughout. A previous owner's name written to the front free endpaper. No other marks or writing to be found. Overall good condition. Hardcover. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Navy Blue cover with gilt title on front cover in highly decorative lettering embellished with flourishes and underlining. 4 lines, 2 above and 2 below and stamped in black also, spine is very similar to the cover with gilt fancy lettering, back cover is blind stamped with same lines as front cover and a center emblem of PPB? inside a larger diamond shape in the center, all page edges are gilt, pages are sewn and there is a crack between 168 and 169 and another between 204 and 205, all pages are clean and tight with the exception described, no markings were found, slight darkening of the pages, small white spots on the lower front cover, moderate shelf wear, double end pages are dark brown, 1 front end page is torn out, other end page has previous owner's book plate, rare foxing on inner pages.
