Condizione: Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A good condition vintage book. No dust jacket. The green cloth shows minor splits and some marks and scratches across the cover and spine. The spine is split down one edge and the spine label is peeling away. The boards feel very slightly loose. The textblock edges have tidemark-style stains and a little dust. The binding has a few shallow cracks and one notable crack beside the frontispiece but all pages are attached, and the internal contents show a typical amount of handling and age but remain fairly sturdy and unfaded for their age. Some page edges are tidemarked. A few interesting additions by a previous owner have been secured onto the endpapers and pastedowns, including a letter from a J. Bound in the Falkland Islands to a Colonel I. F. Meiklejohn in Yorkshire dated 1970, discussing radio communications in the Falklands. The ffep has just under a dozen signatures, and photographs in the rear pages that are potentially of the first Antarctic wireless radio equipment, going by the letter secured to the opposite page. A worn copy on the outside but fairly decent for it's age on the inside, with interesting adjacent history attached. More photographs available on request.
