I counted 13 pages, including the inside front cover which reads: DIRECTIONSL The part of pictures on the colored pages are gummed. These are to be cut out and then pasted on the portions of the outline pictures printed on the opposite pages and on the place marked with corresponding numbers. This makes the children familiar with every portion of the picture which they put together, thus Supplying profitable amusement for Little Hands and Little Heads. It appears to be complete though there may be some pages missing since I did not see corresponding numbers? Rare! Size: Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Book.

Linenette. Condizione: Very Good. This is a square "linenette" book with a stapled spine. The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. There is some light bumping and wear to the spine ends and corners. Both spine ends have small tears. The text pages are generally clean and bright. The rear book cover has some ground-in dirt and large spots of toning. "Samuel Gabriel Sons & Co." in numerous 1915/1916 newspaper listings and mentions. "Samuel Gabriel, Sons & Company" in the obituary below. Samuel Gabriel died 1920-04-28, age 63. ". For many years the manager of a sales force of Raphael Tuck & Sons, American Agency. About fifteen years ago he severed his connections with that house and started in business for himself in the same field of publishing activities." Survived by his wife and sons Arthur, Bertram, Gilbert--The Publishers' Weekly 1920-05-08, p. 1451". (from ISFDB and Publishers Weekly).

Pictures illustrate the alphabet from Acorns to Zebra with such commonly recognized items as Boat, Cat and Dogs in between. The Ink-stand and old-fashioned Motor Car will be rarer sights for today's children.

Color covers and 12 color pages. Not chromo, but still very nice. No date, but 1910 would be a good guess. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. Original vintage 1933 catalog "Gabriel: Toy Books, Games, Pastimes, Mosaics." The catalog is softcover and is bound in its original paper wrappers. The wrappers only have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age but generally nice and clean though there may be some occasional light foxing and grubbiness. The side margin of the last couple of pages is very slightly trimmed. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The catalog measures approximately 10 inches by 7 inches and is 72 pages long.
