Vintage studio still photograph from the 1934 film. Based on the 1930 novel, "Vi som går kjøkkenveien" ("We Who Enter Through the Kitchen") by Sigrid Boo. An heiress, fearing her family is about to go broke, takes a job as a maid and falls in love with a chauffeur. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good, with pinholes and corresponding chips at the corners. Also with small tears at the top and bottom edges and a tear at the bottom left corner.

Draft script for the 1947 film. Copy belonging to actor Van Heflin, with his manuscript signature on the front wrapper and his annotations throughout. A miscommunication leads to an ill-fated marriage in Victor Saville's 1946 film. Starring Lana Turner, Van Heflin, and Donna Reed, and winner of one Academy Award. Goldenrod titled wrappers, rubber-stamped as Complete on the front wrapper, copy No. 93, dated 8-20-46, with credit for producer Wilson. 158 leaves, mimeograph duplication, with annotations throughout. Two vintage studio still photographs from the 1940 film, one with "Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer" stamp on the verso. Based on the 1937 play "Parfumerie." Klara Novak (Margaret Sullavan) is the new employee at the Matuschek and Company store, and Alfred Kralik (James Stewart), their best salesman, can't stand each other, unaware they're falling in love through the post as anonymous pen pals. Selected for the National Film Registry in 1999. Set in Budapest. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with pinholes at corners, one with two small pieces of paper tape at top pinholes on verso. From the collection of actor Van Heflin, who played Timothy Haslam in the film, in his personal tabbed file folder. Based on Goudge's 1944 novel, "Green Dolphin Country." Love interest upon love interest gathers in the English Channel and New Zealand in the 19th century, with Donna Reed, Lana Turner, Edmund Gwenn and Richard Hart "having a go of it." Van Heflin plays a carpenter who kills a man for love's sake and flees. Winner of an Academy Award. 8 x 10 inches, some slightly varied in size. Near Fine overall.
