Aggiungi al carrelloSoft cover. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This offering is a comic book-like copy of Tom Sawyer, originally written by Samuel Clemons, or Mark Twain. This copy was "especially edited and abridged for The Golden Picture Classics by Anne Terry White and illustrated by Hans H. Helweg." The book was published by Simon an…d Schuster in 1956 and appears to be a First Edition in this format but is not specifically stated as such. The book is 7 1/4" by 10 1/8" and has 96 pages with prose and comic-book-like color illustrations throughout. The book is in good + condition, particularly considering its age and format. It's not a book that someone kept in a plastic bag for 60 years. What a great book for the reluctant reader! Thank you. Hans H. Helweg (illustratore).
