Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Very good. Limited Edition. Octavo, 11pp., plus 28pp. of facsimiles of the sale catalogue of Samuel Johnson's Library. Very good in the publisher's blue boards with applied labels to spine and front board. Some finger-soiling to boards, else a nice, crisp example. This is number 117 of 250 limited copies S…IGNED by Newton at the end of his essay. A scarce and nicely produced volume, which reproduces the auction catalogue of Samuel Johnson's library, which was sold in London at Christie's in 1785. Unlike some of Newton's "books about books," this one seems to be scarce in the trade.
