Anticancer activity of ZnO reveals to production of Reactive Oxygen and ions. Moreover, zinc oxide was prepared by Sol-gel method. Different characterizations held on to confirm the structure and morphology of the obtained samples. In addition, DPPH, SOD and GPx radical scavenging activity was applied to investigate the antioxidant activity. Cytotoxicity of MCF-7 was determined by MTT assay, flow cytometry and RT-PCR which confirms that (ZnO-5FU) will be a promising efficient drug for treatment of breast cancer. 52 pp. Englisch.

L'activité anticancéreuse du ZnO révèle la production d'oxygène et d'ions réactifs. De plus, l'oxyde de zinc a été préparé par la méthode Sol-gel. Différentes caractérisations ont permis de confirmer la structure et la morphologie des échantillons obtenus. En outre, l'activité de piégeage des radicaux DPPH, SOD et GPx a été appliquée pour étudier l'activité antioxydante.
