Throughout, the theory is applied to the working of practical systems, and the constraints imposed by fundamental properties are emphasised. The book has been read but remains in clean condition. At the lower part of the back cover there is a series of surface scratches. On the front cover there are some small surface blemishes, the largest of which could be covered by a penny, others are miniscule. There are two brown spots along the top edge of the pages and 3 more along the outer edge of the pages. There is light wear at the head and tail of the spine and at corners and some outer cover edges. Interior of the book is clean & binding is tight. There is no underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no remainder marks, no folded or dogeared pages. Book is actually better than my description sounds. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
