An easy going recollection of a couple's car tour on Quebec's Gaspe Peninsula in the 1930s. Gordon Putnam was the painter Daniel Putnam Brinleys wife, nee Katherine Gordon Sanger who wrote innumerable guide books as Gordon Putnam. The pair lived in an artists enclave in Silvermine, Connecticut, more familiarly known as New Canaan. Brinley was a prolific and well established painter Bothe in Europe at New York; among other things, Putnam Brinley is credited as one of the organizers of the 1913 Armory show. His renderings of rocky cliff sides are reminiscent John Marin's work in Maine. The two were contemporaries; each had his first one-person show at Steiglitz's gallery, Marin in 1909 and Putnam in 1910.

His journey began at the age of 15 months, when he began receiving services from Early Childhood Intervention. At the age of two, he was diagnosed with PDD-NOS (Pervasive Development Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified). He began going to school at three and received his diagnosis of Autism, moderate to severe. He has always struggled to communicate, so the poems in the collection are told in the form of haikus in order to reflect that struggle. This item is printed on demand.
