In this book work is carried out on the different configurations used for PV-battery combination. A new method of charging of the battery which is MPPT based charging is also proposed which employs the current mode control along with slope compensation circuit. The results are compared with traditional method to show the efficiency of the system. Work is also carried out in form of the fully optimized fuzzy logic MPPT controller which performs better and can be used in any solar system to extract the maximum power from it which is validated with the reference work.
