Dust jacket is heavily worn with numerous tears and spots, large tear at bottom left of front board t…hat wraps around the spine. Red cloth boards underneath are still clean with no issues. Interior binding is good and text pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings or handwriting found. Also included with the book is the additional pamphlet which was inserted due to an air in the printing of chapter IV. Ary Scheffer (illustratore).
