De afgelopen drie jaar werkte Schepers met behulp van een Cera Partners in Art beurs aan een kunstenaarspublicatie, ?De uitvinding van de wereld 1984-2013? Deze behandelt alle aspecten van zijn kunstenaarschap. Als kunstenaar werkt Marc Schepers vooral met bestaande foto?s. De beelden worden door hem continu geordend en verwerkt. De activiteit van het telkens opnieuw ordenen en herschikken van de beelden resulteert in fotomontages die niet alleen een sterk maatschappelijke betrokkenheid tonen, maar ook op zoek gaan naar de betekenis van het beeld 0 g.
