An Agreement of Mutual Interest - which was valid until 2000 - was signed on 1 May 1924 between Karl Benz's Benz & Cie. and Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft, which had been founded by Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach. This large format Softbound Book of over 100pp gives account of the lives and acheivements of these three great pioneers who between them created the Motor Car. There has always been debate as to whether it was Daimler or Benz who first invented the Car and this publication is more likely than most to give an objective opinion, as both camps now reside within the joint Group and will have access to all applicable surviving records. There are many period photos and illustrations to supplement the excellent text. The book is in good order with a little splitting to top & bottom of spine, and some age related wear but not affecting the content in any way.
