Beide Vorsätze etwas stockfleckig und mit zwei Bräunungsstreifen an Ober- und Unterrand (Klebespuren…von entfernten Einlagen?). Insgesamt aber noch durchaus ordentliches und ansehnliches Exemplar. Gutes Exemplar. Erste Ausgabe. Yakuschi G 140, Imhof 550. Die schweizerisch-deutsche Expedition (Grob war Schweizer) bestieg als erste den Berg, der an der Grenze zwischen Sikkim und Nepal liegt und eigentlich Kirat Chuli heißt. Die Photos stammen meist von Schmaderer. Sprache: de.

Sehr schön illustriertes Buch über eine Bergbesteigung, aber auch mit guten landeskundlichen Aufnahmen. Schmaderer und Paidar ware…n zum Veröffentlichungszeitpunkt noch in Indien interniert, nur Grob durfte ausreisen und auf Vermittlung von Basil Gould auch die Aufzeichnungen und Photos der anderen mitnehmen. Schmaderer wurde 1945 während eines Fluchtversuchs aus dem Internierungslager in Richtung Tibet - dem Beispiel von Harrer und Aufschnaiter folgend - ermordet. Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 580.
