This intricate publications covers the furnishing and design in various styles, e.g. German Renaissance, Italian Renaissance, Gothic, modern, etc. and examples designed after existing rooms of other residences. The book features a nursery, a reception room, a bathroom, dining room, "music room," boudoir, study, hunter's hall, living room, the hall, bower, study, vestibule, kitchen, guest room, library, bedroom, servant's quarter, salon, a villa and garden terrace. The samples were usually obtained in separate shipments and are here published in one volume covering all aspects of a luxurious residence. Text in German.
