It was first published anonymously in Latin and, since the introduction of…the printing press, has become, alongside the Bible, probably the most influential, most widely distributed and most translated book in Christianity. The book belongs to the Devotio moderna, i.e. the mystical German-Dutch school of the 14th century. Previous owner signatures. Leather Binding. Complete up to page 480 from there on the layout of the last part is partly sporadic. The binding is damaged on the spine, otherwise in Good condition.
