Das 'Wir-Geftlhl', eine gemeinsame Identitllt, ist -zumindest aus theoretischer Sicht -erschUttert. Ursache dieser Verunsi cherung unt…er Feministinnen sind dekonstruktivistische Oberlegungen, die hierzulande besonders anhand der Schriften von Judith Butler rezipiert wor den sind'. 1m Dekonstruktivismus wird das Denken in binliren Oppositionen ange griffen. 1m Zentrum, besonders filr feministische Anliegen, steht die kritische Hinterfragung des Dualismus Natur-Kultur. Die Natur wird nicht mehr als etwas der Kultur V orgilngiges betrachtet; vielmehr wird davon ausgegangen, daB auch das, was wir als Natur bezeichnen, durch einen gesellschaftlichen Diskurs bestimmt wird. Judith Butler schUlgt dementsprechend vor, das fe ministische Denkmodell sex-gender zu korrigieren. Ihrer Meinung nach sind auch die biologischen Unterscheidungen zwischen den Geschlechtem dis kursiv produziert. Aus dieser Perspektive bliebe filr die Frauenforschung nur noch die Analysekategorie gender, deren Konstitution in ihrer Verwobenheit mit verschiedenen Kriterien wie etwa Klasse, Ethnizitllt oder sexuelle Orien tierung untersucht wird. Butler befilrchtet, daB immer dann, wenn von einer gemeinsamen Identitlit aller Frauen ausgegangen wird und Frauen als Gegen satz zu Milnnem konstruiert werden, die so geftlbrten Diskurse Uber Zweige schlechtlichkeit eher zu einer Verfestigung der Geschlechterpolaritllt ftlhren. Ziel mUsse vielmehr sein, die Kategorie Frau dadurch zu dekonstruieren, daB sie von ihrem feststehenden Referenten befreit und in eine Zukunft vielfiilti ger Bedeutungen entlassen wird. Die Kategorie Frau sollte nach Butler von stilndiger Offenheit und Umdeutbarkeit gekennzeichnet sein. 212 pp. Deutsch.
