Very well illustrated with colour plates, b/w photographs and repor's of EARLY documents - e.g. a laid-in facsimile copy of the first page of the CHARTER. One chapter covers the types of fur-bearing animals sought by the company for the European market. Cond : Cream coloured paper wrapper with the corporate crest on the front cover and gold lettering at the spine top. Where the cover overlaps the page edge it is mildly tattered. Presentation sheet laid-in. Minor soiling, tight but starting at p. 48. Minor stains from frags of newspaper clippings laid in. Very attractive copy. Bright w/ no names, marks, tears, creases or underlining. Giftable !! Quote (p. 73) : " ._._. once a month.
