Doch warum wird gerade dieser Tag von Gabusi & Rocchi als Erneuerung der vaterländischen Idee, ja sogar als Auslöser der Bildung einer national-republikanischen Identität der Italiener gesehen gab es schließlich sowohl Patriotismus, Nationalismus, als auch eine Republik schon vor 1946 in Italien. Inwiefern rechtfertigt diese These also den Terminus der Renovatio zu verwenden Muss dann nicht zwangsweise von einem Verlust der idea di patria vor 1946 ausgegangen werden, damit eine Erneuerung in Betracht kommt Welche Rolle spielt dabei ein einziger Tag der 2.
