A collection of fantastical prose poems by Edmond Haraucourt (1856-1941), published by the Society of Bibliophiles "Les Sociétaires de l'Académie des Beaux Livres" organized by Octave Uzanne (1851-1931), this extravagant book features full colour illustrations by by Léon Rudnicki (1873-1958), Alexandre Séon (1855-1917), Alexandre Lunois (1863-1916), and Carlos Schwabe (1866-1926), which are fantasy and symbolist painters. Four parts in one volume complete. 27.8x22cm, 144pp. Original paper wrappers, very minor creasing on the wrapper. Unbound, pages are loose. Occasional stains on the contents but mostly at the blank pages, the contents are clean, in near fine condition. Number 112 of unknown limited publication. Formerly owned by the book collector Édouard Pelay (1842 -1921). Ex-libris by George Laine on the glassine paper of the wrappers. Text in French.…
