In-4°. [8] 146 pp , [2] 24 pp , 172 pp. Contemporary full vellum. Smooth spine with title in ink. Beautiful book on the history and city of Antwerp. Illustrated with 5 (of 7 ) engravings. Lacks the view of Antwerp and the view of the exchange hall. Present are the map of Antwerp, the town hall, the Hansa house, the citadel and the cathedral . Some waterstaining in the middle but overall good copy. Ref: STCV 6607472.

First edition. Two works, found both separately and often, as here, bound together. Quarto (26 x 19cm). pp. [viii],146,[1-2],3-24;[3-14],15-172,[4]. Lacking the colophon at the end of the first part (before the Greek & Hebrew verses) and title to the second part, the colophon being repeated at the end of the second part, the two presumably having been discarded as redundant, the second title being very similar to the first with the exception of two words only. The second part containing a map, two plans & four views, all double-page by Theodoor Galle. Bound in contemporary or early vellum with natural toning, leading hinge slighty split, endpapers replaced. Vg.
