Original Cloth. Condizione: Very Good. First Edition. The text of this volume is in Latin with an introduction and index in English. The boards have some rubbing to the corners with some fading and staining to the spine and a little discolouration to the front and rear panels. Slight fraying at the top and bottom of the spine but the boards are otherwise unmarked with bright gilt lettering the front panel - the lettering on the spine is a little dulled. There is some browning to the page edges. The book is from the collection of Anthony Edwards, Life Fellow of Gonville & Caius College and retired Professor of Biometry at the University of Cambridge and was part of his collection of Cambridge books which was a reflection of his keen and active interest in the governance of the Collegiate University. There is a price and a few light notes in pencil at the top of the front free endpaper. Browning to the endpapers. The pages are a little browned but are generally clean and unmarked. No jacket.
