Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Good+. 1st Edition. "With a Chapter on the Old Saints of Cornwall, also a short Glossary". 8vo, xxiv + 464pp. Profusely illustrated with plates, figires, and a large folding map. Hardcover, bound in original cream-colored half cloth over sage green boards. Gilt title and decorations to spine. In good plus condition. Faint inscription to front pastedown, otherwise contents are clean and unmarked. Hinges are weak but text-block itself remains firmly bound. Some wear and soiling to binding. The large folding map is present and actually in quite good condition (one pinhole-sized gap at at inner corner and a short closed tear to left margin), however it bears a previous owner's crude attempt to reattach it to the book with cellotape. Remains a solid copy overall, now protected in a new custom-made clear archival dustwrapper.
