The introductory text of the book, written by Irvin Cemil Schick, connects to Mithat Sen's established visual language through the aesthetics of language. The main text, written by Gökşen Bugra: The components of Mithat Şen's alphabet in "Breath" sometimes form the body schema as a whole and sometimes with interruptions; solidity and emptiness within square forms create rhythm, progressing continuously. In the unlimited possibilities of the system the artist has established, 360 squares come together, creating a symphony through repetition and variation, sometimes diminishing, sometimes layering and continuing, diversifying the way of showing the body schema with subtractions and shifts. In "Breath," Mithat Sen densely places the body units he has divided into thousands of pieces with continuity and stacking. For the artist, the claim of the painting is that the beginning can be added to the end, and the end can be added to the starting point. "Breath," which can be considered a comprehensive compilation of Mithat Sen's method of transforming form and material, is a stopping point where the "Body" series meets the "Cosmos" and "Istif" series.
