Steffen Fliegel, einer der Gutachter, warnt vor ubertriebenen Reformen, die von den Empfehlungen abweichen. Bernhard Strauss kritisiert ebenfalls die rigorosen Veranderungen in der Ausbildung, die nicht auf wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen basieren. Dirk Revenstorf hinterfragt das wissenschaftliche Verfahren zur Anerkennung von Psychotherapie-Verfahren, das stark vom RCT-Paradigma gepragt ist. Jurgen Kriz bietet eine tiefgehende Analyse der Evidenzbasierung. Sulz betont, dass Psychotherapie mehr ist als nur Wissenschaft.
