We admit that our Russian isn't perfect, but the colophon seems to indicate this is the second printing of a total run of 800,000 copies (400,001 - 800,000), but the unreliability of such statements is well-known. Soviet pedagogy from the era immediately following World War II, and a relatively fragile survival.
